Nachito is a 24 year old Argentine-American artist from Salt Lake City. With his early 2000’s inspired melodies, hard hitting rhythmic drums, and passionate vocals; Nachito delivers a nice refreshing sound to a saturated genre. Recently, he released his fun and intoxicating track. “whisky+lemonade”. This single is for his upcoming project, “Nachivelli” and after hearing this single we think you need to tune in immediately. The track open ups with distant percussions ringing and floating around until a hard hitting drum line comes in and Nachito creates a classic sound with catchy auto tuned vocals. This track reminds me of a club banger from the early 2000’s, which is, exactly what he’s going for so bravo to nachito but, I don’t think we expected anything less from a demon popper. The infectious melody and creative vocal stylings really pay off on this track. Get ready for “Nachivelli” and play this single as loud as it goes.
LORD MUNDY: Back With a Heavy Hitter.
LORD MUNDY is an artist we have been keeping up with for a minute and now one of his singles is finally getting a wider range of acknowledgment so we thought it would be a great time to celebrate and show it off to all of you. “WRATH” was put together with the help of producer DUMPY. The idea was too take a more ominous approach to current hip hop. Personally, we feel like this was achieved very well by creating an off-putting and hard hitting atmosphere to float around in. With synths racing past you like race cars and quick drums to create a nice and fun rhythm around the whole thing. MUNDY isn’t the type to let the bass fade to the back so you know this track is filled with punch and aggression inside of the instrumentation as well as the vocals of MUNDY. He takes a quick bar approach but still delivering every syllable with clarity and ease. Just another reason you should be on the wave LORD MUNDY is creating.
vzathegreat: A New Sound Breaking Out of His Hometown.
vzathegreat a.k.a. Vernon is a 24 year old artist from Groton, CT. He claims to bring a wild versatility as well as, experimentation; inside of his music. We hear that inside of his newest tape, “CONNECTICUT DON’T LOVE YOU”; which is all about how Vernon never gets the love from his local music scene. This tape is literally Vernon leaving behind that “hometown” image that rappers so proudly represent. This is something that a lot of newer artists can relate to in the new digital age. No one wants to like your music or art until someone tells them it’s cool or until it starts selling. Very few of us ever get the support we seek and it starts to really make you look at your art differently. It could make you feel ba for not goo at your craft but, Vernon channeled this energy and rage into a fun and psychedelic influenced rap album. “CONNECTICUT DON’T LOVE YOU” is an 8-track album with many different sounds mixing together. This tape goes from a 90s hip hop vibe inside of “Sneakerbump” to the heavy experimental psychedelic rap sound we get from tracks like, “#4thekIds” and “Where’s the Lie?” vzathegreat has a very crisp sound that is turning into a great product. From out of the box sounds that are hard to come by to the quick and seamless bars. This tape is more than worth your time, check it out now.
Princess Spank: A Never Ending "Love Fest".
Princess Spank is a new artist making hits out of their LA room. Spank has a style that will bring you to a club 30 years from now as you try and decide how to dance to the punk pop fusion. Not only mixing the two genres, Spank has a sense of electronic also, to spice up the arrangements. Teaming up with babyflexfilms, the two created a track and video to go along with it. “Love Fest” features Princess Spank’s punky vocal takes over a nice rhythm and progression. The track makes you feel like youre flying through the clouds or racing through your streets with the top down. The video adds to the euphoric vibes by adding a neon, saturated image that is almost exactly what you would picture when you hear the song by itself. Princess Spank is someone to keep up with in the future. Im sure they’ll put out a few hits this year.
