Scott Delta: Experimenting with Sounds in the Best Way.

Adjustments.jpeg

Scott Delta is an artist that popped up on our radar very recently with, his newest tape “END of an ERA”. This tape is a long and well put together collection of songs that stands out from the crowd. From production quality to artistic direction, Scott is ahead of the races and really tapping into his own culture. With stand out tracks like “BLEED4ME” and “Portrait” show off different sounds and styles while still retaining a classic LoFi tone special to Scott himself. This tape runs a little under a half hour but, that is more than enough time to really dive into Scotts mind as bubbly synths fly by along with rhythmic drum loops carrying your consciousness through the track list. Every song introduces a new scene but, keeping the classic and witty mind that is Scott Delta. 10 out of 10, do recommend.

Faust the Owlchemist: A New Tape with Genre Bending Sounds.

Adjustments.jpeg

Faust is an artist from the Bay Area who takes on themes of sadness, sin, and sorcery, inside of their music. Their most recent self produced tape entitled, “Crescent Moon Coven” is 15-tracks long and dives into the chaotic mind that is Faust. Bouncing from many different sounds and genres while still keeping the mind bending and genre experimenting sound it starts with. Apart of Demonpop and Collective Decay, we would expect nothing less but the punchy and experimental mixes we get on tracks like “Lance of Longinus” and “Phoenix Down”. Faust also takes on another sound very heavy in this track list and it’s this bend between punk rock and spacious atmospheric music with spacious vocal mixes and punky guitar riffs. This whole tape is filed with a lot of substance and work so it’s a no brainer to at the very least, check it out and spin the first few tracks. This is a piece from a true artist that has a lot more in store for the future.

Jonela Cartier: Back with a Beautiful Guitar Tone.

Adjustments.jpeg

Jonela Cartier is staying consistent with his newest track “Heart Like A Lion”. This track dives into the mellow emotion of feeling alone and excluded. Jonela has great vocal recordings that really set off the melancholy vibe the song is trying to deliver. He does all of this over a nice and wavy instrumental that has guitar leading the way. The quick and rhythmic drums fell in the gaps with subtle noises to replace the classic drum sounds were used to. This track offers a lot to the listener from blending multiple genres and sounds to, creating a fun and easy listen for anyone who happens to find it. This track is for every man, woman, and child. Check it out right now!

The Great Pangolin: Another Colorful Ride Into Madness.

Adjustments.jpeg

The Great Pangolin is back with a new track expressing color and adventure. Inside of “P.A.U.R House” The Great Pangolin brings us along on an intense and electronic textured ride through the colorful depths of her mind. She layers deep sounds full of texture and automation as reverbs and spacious delays fill out the mix. The track starts at what seems like a good solid foundation for a track but, as the song progresses, The Great Pangolin stacks new ideas on top of each other to make an ever changing mix of emotions that never play one note the same. The video is a good visual effect of the tracks motion. It starts slow and colorless, almost no movement or texture in the image and as the song picks up, the video becomes all the more distorted. Screen pumping to a lively rhythm and flashing color full textures along with the sparkly synths. This whole artistic piece was well made and we are sure it will be enjoyed by many people in their, dark bedrooms, late at night.
