Brandon Strife: A Classic Sound That Retains All Quality.

Adjustments.jpeg

Brandon Strife is a new artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. Now residing in California, Brandon spends his days chipping away at his craft and creating lyrical tracks with a classic sound. After Brandon said that he had been writing since the age of nine, it made sense that, his content was so jam packed with words and meaning. His lyrics are wrapped around classic sounding instrumentals with warmth and quality. Brandon comes off sounding a lot like the people who inspired him to create in the first place. This includes the likes of, Tupac, Outkast, and Jay-Z. Brandon’s main goal with his music is to supply a message to the masses. His sense of connection through music is what makes him want to grow and get better. There’s a sense of comfort in someone relating to your pain as well as, your happiness and I think we can all agree on that. Brandon uses his music to get his emotions out to the world.

“Swayin” is a recent release from Brandon that is paired with a quality video that you need to check out. It has beautiful guitar ruling the song with a melodic progression as hints of analog synths and guitar plucks float around your head. The drums pack more than a punch and create a whole groove around Brandon’s introspective lyrics and flows. Brandon has more than talent for writing. He is precise and punctual with a style of his own. Brandon can easily bring back that classic 90’s hip hop sound that we watched people like, Joey Bada$$, blow up with.

Kiffie: Teacher By Day, Composer of Worlds By Night.

Adjustments.jpeg

Kiffie is a gentlemen that spends his free time composing electronic music as well as, classical. His influences range from acts like Depeche Mode and Beethoven. Kiffie started composing during the UK lockdown. His process is simple on the outside cus it’s the brain that does the most work during the whole thing. Kiffie starts with just a digital piano and preset rhythms. Then, he will imagine the piece in his head and get to work. If everything goes smoothly up to this point and Kiffie likes the sound then, he will switch the rhythm over to his TR08 drum machine. Kiffie says that, he prefers the hardware over anything else and we assume this is because the hands on movement really makes the music more real. Kiffie says that, he can imagine vocal melodies in his head but that the words rarely find their way to the light so, most of Kiffie’s compositions don’t develop into finished songs. During March Kiffie has taken his talents to stage shows and spread his sound much quicker than the average. We think his process of creating at least one composition a day is the main thing to blame because this allows Kiffie to continue working on his craft and exchanging his sounds as well as; influence. Kiffie’s main hope with putting himself out there more is to work with more rappers and singers. Kiifie has a lot to offer to the creation process but, if Kiffie had the song writing help to bring his compositions to life then, he would be unstoppable. Kiffie’s sound is very analog and dry with the sounds doing the real living. Synths with timed waves and satisfying frequencies. Abnormal drums that waste no time slicing through the mix with punch. His sound is always evolving but Kiffie always caries a sense of sorrowful sounds as well as, up lifting resolutions.

Sighmon: Fifteen Quality Tracks to Lose Yourself In.

Adjustments.jpeg

Sighmon is an artist and producer that spends his days living and breathing his music. He has been creating music out of Naples, Florida for a little over 2 years now. Sighmon seeks connection and emotion with his listeners as he tries to create the best music possible inside of his home studio. Recently, Sighmon took it upon himself to move to Atlanta in hopes to expand his quality and sound. Since then, he has been working on his album “TANGET” and made a nice little impact on release.

The tape runs 15 tracks long and stand outs like “Back in the Day” and “Vacant”, show off the left field production well. Sighmon has way of creating strong and powerful waves in his own way. Taking almost a LoFi route with spacious synths and drums filled with noise and realistic percussion. This whole tape reminds us a lot of production Kanye was doing for people like Drake and Beyonce in the late 2000’s. This whole tape was well cared for and delivers a whole new sound for a whole new artist. Sighmon has more than potential for the future, he has the talent.

Vrooly RokStar: A New Left Feild Sound to Spice Up Your Morning.

Adjustments.jpeg

Vrooly RokStar is a new artist from Omaha making a left field sound. In his newest track “Stuck On Her” we get an atmospheric instrumental with quick rhythms and distant leads. Vrooly has a weird flow that catches you off guard but once you get into the groove it really starts to ring. His vocals are trapped in a void as they sound like they’re just getting further and further away as Vrooly continues to pour out emotion. This track has a sound that some might be put off by but without a doubt, Vrooly has a place on the music work just because of; his abstract ideas and structures.
