Ronnie Choc: Record producer Turned Songwriter.

Adjustments.jpeg

Ronnie Choc is a record producer, songwriter, and artist based out of Virginia. He has worked with a lot of notable local artists, as well as, several unreleased tracks with bigger industry artists. Ronnie has been working on records with artists as big as Lil Yachty to Pusha T’s Heirwave Music Group Soundboy Kwad. Ronnie has a particular production that has garnered hundreds of thousands of streams across several different platforms and countries. Now he has finally decided to make the transition from being strictly a producer to being a producer and artist. Ronnie credits this move to inspirations from other producers such as Virginia Natives, Pharrell and Timbaland. Ronnie Choc is always striving to meet the gold standard of Virginia’s prior musicians.

Through his whole discography of working with other artists, Ronnie has created a slick and clean sound with rhythm and structure. Ronnie was an easy go to when you wanted to by a professional sounding beat. It only makes sense that he now wants to take those hard hitting rhythms and use the best of them for himself. Ronnie understands his talents more than anyone else and he’s now taking the opportunity to abuse them. We cannot wait to see what is to come. What is already here has left us excited.

HELLBØUND ANGL: A Classic Punk Sound in the Modern Day.

Adjustments.jpeg

HELLBØUND ANGL is an artist that uses music to express all her emotions. On top of music ANGL also uses poetry and other art to express herself. She uses these forms of art, to connect with her own emotions as well as empathizing with others. ANGL’s early influences in music came from poetry because she started writing at a young age, as well as a widespread variety of music genres from Punk, R&B, Industrial, Alternative, Metal, Hip Hop/Rap, and so on. She uses these influences and her own ideas to push the boundaries and limits. This has led to the start of a following or “family” she has created which is referred to as 777. ANGL’s goal through her music is to encourage others to feel and grow as individuals, and to be an outlet for the people.

Her style ranges from different genre bending waves. There’s always gonna be a great rhythm with hard hitting drums but the emotion behind the guitars and melodic work always range. ANGL takes on a punky sound and mixes a lot of elements from modern day music. Trap style drums and classic structures with drops and resolutions. ANGL not only has a sound all for herself but she has the vocal and lyrical content to take over the world.

Art: A Brand New Video for a Fun and Colorful Production.

Adjustments.jpeg

Art is a new artist blending elements of trap and psych rap to create a nice melting pot of waves and bars. His sound reminds me a lot of playboi Carti or Uzi and it really captures the psych sound by using fun and colorful sounds. The mixes always have texture and his ear for beats is ahead of his peers. One of his most recent tracks, “Like Nothin” was produced by the one and only 16yrold and it has lofi texture with hard hitting bass. The melodies seem like they’re being squashed through an old radio as Art goes crazy with melodic and catchy bars. This track is more than worth a listen. Not to mention, it’s accompanied by a well made video.

Codes VanDamn: A Man on a Mission.

Adjustments.jpeg

Codes VanDamn is a man on a mission and more than just a musician. Since the beginning he has vowed to donate 25% of all earnings to various charities that impacted his coming of age. This includes  domestic violence, homeless shelters, and food pantries. The whole idea behind behind the personality Codes VanDamn is to help people realize you are amazing the way you are, don’t let anyone tear you down or keep you from chasing your dreams. He recently released his track “Woah Boy” which was an introspective dive into life and vices. The lofi recording style creates a sort of listening through a radio feel with the horns sticking out like they’re in front of you. Codes says such things like “at least I’m not drunk” to hit towards his past and moving on to better days. He’s growing along with his music development and becoming a better Codes everyday. Check him out and dive into a lofi world as well as, help out the cause.
