dxct teamed up with classic Lofi producer bsd.u to create his newest tape “HOLIDAY”. With this tape dxct hope to dial in his style while bringing something new and fresh to the table. In our opinion, he’s done just that. It’s hard not to enjoy a single track on the tape. They all take on this very classic and real sound by using vinyl scratches and emotional melodies to create a new world. dxct has already had a big year for himself. Not only, spreading his music throughout Kansas but the world as well. Gaining followers on every platform you can think of and doing it while recreating a classic sound with 90s hip hop influence. That being said, this isn’t something you’ve heard before. dxct has his own way of rapping and his world play is so spot on that, they might go over your head on your first listen. Some of our highlights from the tape are the experimental “Temple Steps” and the rhythmic “Beat the Case”. Every track has its own energy while still delivering a tape sound. The goal was more than achieved. dxct and bsd.u are both very talented and intelligent musicians.

He has gained a nice buzz for himself by creating this sound that is special to him. Set to release his newest tape, Type1ne comes through with an experimental track inside of “Momentum”. This was a collaborative effort with artists rodman shah and Pally Ray. The track has a very experimental sound with atmospheric synths kicking it off and then, heavy auto tuned and in your face lyrics. The drums have a rhythm that bang hard and keep you bobbing your head. Type1ne delivers quality everytime and we’re excited to see where he takes his newest tape.
devRAB: A New Album to Soak Up.
devRAB is an artist that spent his time enjoying music in the streets of New York. At a young age he learned piano and played along with his school orchestra for 8 years. His influences go all the way from U2 to Travis Scott. Working in New York has really perfected his sound and made the crisp melodies come off the best way possible. Each vocal is tunes perfectly with the instrumental and the beats are wavy coast beats.
“the nextape” is devRAB’s third tape after 3 years of working on his sound. The entire is tape is more than quality and bangs hard. The tape takes a melodic approach with every instrumental following a wavy melody along with very rhythmic drums. This tape is 6 tracks long and runs about 15 minutes so it’s perfect for you if you’re trying to quickly dive into a new discography and discover a new sound. devRAB makes a blend of modern trap and indie. He does this by blending guitars and those same wavy melodies we talked about before with, fun and danceable drums. We highly recommend this sound for any Uzi or Travis fans.
exdee: Siblings Creating Fun and Big Mixes.
exdee is a Hyperpop due that consists of two siblings. They create bone chilling mixes with dynamic ranges and melodies. Each mix has a sense of quality and time put into it and this is noticeable right when you hit play. “Ayye” specifically is filled with catchy lines and speaker busting drums. The energy that comes from an exdee track is unmatched even by most in the fast growing scene. exdee pulls out all the energy you have left in your body and gets you dancing immediately. The drums on “Ayye” cut through the mix and don’t let you even imagine anything outside of rhythm. They keep you in line as colorful and spacious sounds fill your headphones. exdee gets our stamp of approval and is more than worth a minute of your time. Fall in love with a new artist today.
