Notebook is an experimental sound that blends many influences he’s found over the years. He started as a rapper around the age of 10 and refining his skills into more singing around, the age of 18. By the age of 26, Notebook perfectly blended his influences to create a sound of his own. His music has many layers and dimensions and you can never really know what to expect. Notebook created a world where electronic, R&B, and Hip Hop stand hand and hand but, in his own way with his own sound.

“live forever.” is an, experimental track with rhythmic guitar riffs and pretty synths. Notebook adds a peculiar spice to the track with left field lyrics that bang. He creates a fun vibe with his own sound. Everything from the structure to the sounds is unique to him and something special to pay attention to. Notebook isn’t afraid to be himself on the track and it really shows.

Styngray: Moving Fast Into The Future.

Styngray is a Chicago native artist that recently put out his track, “Make It Shake’ with, First Kings Entertainment. The song is a bass bouncing hip hop track that has the intent to get you moving. Using, bouncing synths and poppy horns, the track moves a nice groove. Styngray adds catchy lyrics with effects helping the punchlines hit even harder. Styngray has a way of creating a song specific to him and his personality. He gives the track its own spice with a new tone in voice and out of the ordinary sounds from the usual in the genre.

JKL WERTY: Let the Bass Breathe.

JKL WERTY recently dropped one of his hottest singles yet with “JEEPERS CREEPERS”. This track smacks harder than some of your favorites and proves that JKL deserves all the recognition in the world. The track itself is a hard hitting, bass heavy vibe with, an obscure piano melody helping the track move. Almost like everyone was just sitting around bouncing on the keys until they had one of the catchiest and off putting melodies they could find. JKL adds super catchy bars over a beat that already had a lot of bounce in the first place. Together these two things created one of our favorite tracks we’ve heard this year. It’s simple and to the point but it hits way to hard to disappoint. 

TOMXWOLFE: A Visionary Paving His Own Path.

TOMXWOLFE is a Gabon-Canadian multi-genre music producer and label owner. His songs became a staple sound in Gabon when one of his most beloved singles dropped. “Matrice” was co-produced with Mr. Eazi as the lead single for BGMFK’s debut album, “2417”. Much like peers such as, KAYTRANADA, or legends such as J-Dilla, TOMXWOLF is taking the producer-driven approach to creating by, promoting and releasing his own records under his independent label “Woodlum Records”. He wishes to take control of the narrative and tell his story through carefully selected songs filled with meaning and substance.

“Attention” is one of Tom’s newest single. It has a dancing rhythm with kicks that smack and melodic vocals that help the song move. The quality of the track itself is as good as the major labels. From sound to selection to structure, the track was flawlessly constructed. Tom shows a wide character with an even wider range. One of the verses even reminded us of a high pitched Young Thug verse. This track is more than worth a few minutes of your time.
