ZAY: A Dive into the Mind of a Young Artist.

ZAY is a 16 year old independent artist from the Sacramento indie pop scene. Zay has been working non-stop for the past 2 years on EP's and Album's. His first debut was in March 2019 with his song "Suicide", he followed quickly with the "Suicide EP". After that, in July, 2019 his 2nd EP "Sunny Day's" released and it was all about finding the light. His Debut Album "15 Going On 16" came out in January 2020, An album about growth and finding happiness in a teenage mind. From Live Shows to Virtual Shows & Tour's, ZAY has been working hard to make sure his message, of safety, love and acceptance is apparent at every show and in every song to make feel at home and bring that comfortable feeling. 

“15 Going On 16” travels deep throughout ZAY’s mind and emotions through raw and uncut instrumentals filled with bliss and beauty. Each track has a lovable melody inside the mix and ZAY has a great tone with every word throughout. This album is more than worth your time. Smovve Pok is a DMV rapper and singer. He’s been at it for over a decade now and has a fresh new sound to show off to the world. His newest album “The Come Back Kid” has it all displayed for you. “Spoil You” is one of our personal favorites. This track truly displays Smovve’s songwriting ability because the melody is just to fresh to not want to play again. This track alone is enough reason to check out this whole tape. It proves, Smovve has been working for a long minute and these are some true underground gems. Every track has a great atmosphere and environment like, “Till We Fly” which, sounds like its above the clouds. Masquerade Butterfly: The Perfect DIve Into an Artist Mind.

Masquerade Butterfly is the alias of 23 year old producer and vocalist Vivian P. She takes influence from mid-2010's hip hop, mellow indie rock and experimental EDM, Masquerade Butterfly crafts raw, emotional musical creations.

“Partners In Time” is the newest 3-track EP from Masquerade Butterfly. She really dives into a submissive and atmospheric sound that, you can find yourself getting lost in. Each track has a similar sound to the one before with each being, supported by left field guitar licks throughout. This tape attempts to blend genres left and right and we think it does a very great job of that. Especially the more punk and hip hop influenced sounds. The guitars weep and cry along side Masquerade as the drums, smack with quick hats. The 808s are right in your face kind of, holding your hand, through the songs. This tape was well put together and she shows how much she cares for her music with every lyric truly meaning something to herself. The perfect dive into an artist’s mind in the current day. 

Slendo: We All Just Want Blue Benjis.

Slendo is a 23-year old hip hop artist and rapper from Chattanooga, TN. He has been producing and making his own beats for 7 years now, and recording for about 3. He has released multiple singles this year available on all streaming platforms, and has a numberof other singles and projects that were released over the last couple of years. Slendo uses music as a form of expression and escape from personal struggles and issues in the world. He claims to be heavily influenced by artists and sounds from the past and present, from Bob Marley all the way to Jay-Z and Young Thug, and even more modern rappers like Lil Uzi Vert, Juice Wrld, and more. 

Slendo recently dropped his newest track “Blue Benjis’”. This track has a bounce in the music and a bang in the drums. Slendo bring crazy quick bars with catchy lyricism.
