Amy Bestevez is a musician from florida and co-founder of Bepis Labyrinth art collective. Amy specializes in frantic hip-hop and pop music, letting chaos follow wherever she goes. Amy’s discography is beautiful with a hard sense of aggression layered subtly in the background. Tracks like “crystals [prod by. goreboy]” show this off perfectly with a high energy, fun, and bubbly instrumental. Synth arps fill space so seamlessly as a hard hitting club rhythm leads the whole track. On the other hand we get some super experimental and successful attempts at out of the box production like what you would hear on “113freestyle [prod. BVNDIT404]”. Amy shows off her talented range and her ability to truly make a hit out of anything thrown her way. Check out “trust yourself” and “Ride On Shooting Star’ for even more reassurance that Amy and her whole collective are onto something great.
Big Dame: The Maryland Artist Bursting Into the Scene.
Adama Kendall is a young talented model and writer breaking out of her shell just a little more with her hard hitting sound. Big Dame has an infectious catalog with tracks like, the catchy; “L.A.M.E.” a perfect girl anthem for the summer. The instrumental bangs with intense bass that sucks you in immediately. The rhythm gets your body moving and Big Dame smacks the beat with a catchy and well written track. Dame is filled with frustration in every single lyric while still maintaining the perfect melodies and flows. Truly, this song is well produced on all angles, from the vocals to the instrumental itself. “L.A.M.E” is enough to get anyone flipping through Big Dame’s discography. We cannot recommend her more.
Otto Meech: Another Collection of Hits from the Dart Mann.
Otto Meech is an artist we’ve kept up with close because his hard hitting and catchy tracks hold a vice grip around our ears. Infectious instrumentals and quality lyrics on top of, a consistent release schedule and genuine passion for music. Otto goes out of his way to introduce new sounds to his discography and with his new tape “Get Ghost Mann”, we get a slower piano ballad sound to lead the charge. Almost jazz but still with the classic and catchy trap drums we are all used to. Otto doesn’t let us down and provides great bar after great bar. Spicing the tape up with every emotion from anger to humor. “Schedule” is probably one of our favorites and that track kind of steps back the sound your getting used to and steps more into a psychedelic influences. The repetitive synth and the smug drums just add such an amazing texture to the overall sound of the project. Otto has delivered yet, another tape; we recommend.
Shawddy Mane: A Personality to Add to Your Playlist.
Shawddy Mane is a theatrical and talented musician that we have covered before. His personality shines through every jazz influenced instrumental and his mind passes through chorus, verse, and bridge so seamlessly that; his tracks are expected to fizzle down into a b-section that keeps your mind fixated even longer. “BILL SKINS THE SECOND” is no stranger to this sound but, it creates the best energy yet. Shawddy Mane goes from clever bars and goofy breaks all while, keeping the sound sound intact. Colorful chords create a feeling of sexy dripped over unsettling and moody chord changes. The video only amplifies this feeling as it follows the story of Shawddy Mane and his attractive mistress. The video itself has artists cinematography and really inspires the DIY mindset even more. Shawddy Mane is must listen if you’re asking us.
