Adjustments.jpeg

Cam the Artisan has become one of the most uplifting and promising artist of the newest generation of artists. After playing some beautiful festivals around the nation he headlined a incredible show at UNC-Chapel Hill. Right after he tailed it home and released his newest single “Brown Skin” with a powerful video to match. The track itself is a celebration for all black women and Atlanta culture. The instrumental is sexy and poppy as the energy sweeps through the headphones. The video, directed by Cam and Kevin Cruz, features three women as well by the names of, Hailey, Asha, and Kaya. The reason we’re giving credit to each member is not only because they deserve it but, because this video came out perfectly. Every shot leads so nicely to the next and the production quality feels way higher than it probably actually was. Everyone involved did a great job and they all deserves their recognition for helping Cam really bring his, already amazing track, to life. Cam the Artisan is more than worth a couple minutes of your time.

Stefan James: A Fresh New Voice To Fill Your Time.

Adjustments.jpeg

Stefan James is new artist that’s proven his spot in the scene. Coming from Detroit, Stefan, has influence rushing thru his veins from every neck of the industry. Stefan doesn’t over compensate for who he is. He actually claims to be very quiet and laidback rather than the typical energy you would associate with some of the most infamous hip hop personalities. James focuses more on his storytelling ability and his experience of growing up in America. He’s garnered a nice following and only 20 years young, he’s bound to make a popular record anyday.

James’ music ranges in sound. “Right There” takes on a more energetic vibe with trap drums and psych influences synth sound bouncing around their pitches. This track reminds us of someone like Playboi Carti but with a whole new and fresh voice. “Things Have Changed” on the other hand takes on a much darker and emotional route. Something that would come with a Travis Scott record but of course, with Stefan’s fresh new vocal chops. He is more than a musician. Stefan is a creative and he deserves your time.

SeanG: Hoping For Brighter Days.

SeanG a.k.a Zenkipineapple is a new artist emerging from a small town in Westchester County. His inspiration comes from the world around him. Current and personal events, as well as, the emotion that comes along with. Sean hopes to spread his message to the world and make anyone feel like they have someone to relate to. He claims that we are all the same and we all find ourselves in similar situations. He wants to spread love and make sure that you know you are not alone.

“sunny days” is an experimental trip to the beach. A bouncy bass line takes over the mix and Sean sings his heart out about pushing for the sunnier days. It all comes together so beautiful and giving of an energy that seems hopefully and motivated. This song is perfect to get anyone’s day moving. It all about just pressing play and letting yourself dive into the mind of SeanG.

Joshua The Militant: A Fresh New Sound in the Music World.

Adjustments.jpeg

Joshua The Militant is an emerging artist from East Los Angeles. Apart of the collective, “Backyard Fleet”, Joshua mixes many different influences and sounds to create a genuine new mix everytime. He loves taking a nice sample beat and just creating many different flows and styles with lyrics. Joshua has two very cool music videos out now and if he’s not making music he’s helping a long with the rest of “Backyard Fleet” to create even more great art!

“NITE TRAIN” is one of Joshua’s newest mixes. It features a super squashed sound with crazy synths and vocal mixing. It’s wild from the very beginning and you only dive deeper into the madness the farther the lyrics go. In this mix, you can really hear the influence pouring out and becoming a whole new sound. From hip-hop all the way to punk. This song is worth a few minutes of your night.
