Mikem Nahmir: Spice Up Your Morning with this Brand New Tape.

Mikem Nahmir is a 22 year old artist for the north side of Long Beach, CA. He started making music at the end end of 2017 and has had a growing love for it ever since. A huge influence to his music is skateboard culture. Mikem has been skating his entire life and sucking different sounds and looks the whole time. “LIL HOMIE” is his newest project. With the help and production from friends and family, Mikem, brings some of his rawest raps yet with bone shaking mixes. 

“Fall Of Olympus” is one of our highlights of the tape. The instrumental is distant with left field guitar licks and spacious reverb. It reminds us almost of an old odd future era beat. The second the drums come in you get a second smack of nostalgic sounds and well timed rhythms. Mikem unloads bars seamlessly as, the beat switches up and the guitar licks are changed. This song along shows so much depth and time put into this record. It’s worth more than a listen. It’s worth 5 or 6 right off the bat and a few hundred more as life goes on. 

TNZ: Tracks Perfect for Your Night of Raging.

SUPATUV & JZANDER are American rappers, singers, and songwriters, born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2018, the two formed the duo hip hop outfit “TNZ”. Ever since, they have been collecting songs and showing the world what they’re made of.In 2018 TNZ traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to work with producer Chris Beatz apart of production group “The Remedy” to work on their first EP “TALIBANZAN” producing their first major platformed single “10:45” . Following that, their most recent project with Mooktoven producer out of Atlanta, Georgia called TNZ was their second EP completed in December of 2019. TNZ proceeded to end 2019 by linking up with Diesel Films from Atlanta, Georgia shooting “Audi Coupe” produced by MookToven known as their first official single.

“Play It Safe” is a well thought out piece of music. Even the sounds sound almost like toys to represent “Play Time”. Angelic flutes flood in to set the track off as the tightly knit bars fill out the mix. The bass on this track hits hard and cuts through the mix effortlessly. The duo bounces back in forth and shows off their chemistry perfectly. These two are both talents to be heard with not only range but, creativity as well.

Shelby White: A New Young Talent Blossoming.

Shelby White is a 16 year old artist bursting onto the scene. In November of 2018, she recorded and released her own take on “Sober” by Demi Lovato, launching herself into the music industry. After the release of her first single, she hit the road for radio interviews. In May of 2019, Shelby released her first original single titled, “Good Bad Girl”. Shelby just wants to create music and help other cope or feel more accepted through her art. She went through a lot growing up just like a lot of us and she understands where that pain comes from. Her music is full of wonderful chord progressions and left field vocal stylings. Check her out now and wait for many more releases in the future.

Metatron: A Digital Rendition of Classic Video Game Nostalgia.

“Media Blues” is a new track from the mind of Metatron. He recreated a rendition of music in the game, entitled, “2064: Read Only Memories”. The track features bright 80s sounding synths mixed with Rhodes keys and digital leads. The whole track is a rhythm right after another with new sounds flooding in at any moment. It’s honestly a great piece of work that you can hear the hours put in. Every loop was well drawn or played and the drums are subtle but still smack at the same time. This mix is anything but, messy and unorganized with, every sound finding it’s place and a perfect bubble to preform.

METATRON has been creating music since 2011 and even started with his passion for video game music. He learned production from trying to recreate some of his favorite works. The vaporware sound also always spoke to him as, it takes on more of a digital tone and look with old PC themes and sounds. He takes influence from modern day master pieces like Yellow Magic Orchestra and Disasterpeace. METATRON comes off as a beautiful soul that we think deserves endless recogniton for the work he creates. It’s an evil world but there beauty all around us and METATRON’s creations are definitely apart of that.
